Event for the 100 years celebration of the Technical Chamber of Greece “Engineers’ Associations: History, Roles, Interventions and Perspectives”
Thursday, 10th October 2024
Technical Chamber of Greece, (Auditorium 1st floor), Nikis 4, Syntagma, Athens
In the context of the celebration of its 100th anniversary, the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) is organising a scientific conference on the history of the engineers’ organisations, their role in shaping the engineering profession, their relations with related institutions, such as the Polytechnics and other technical schools, and the scope of their interventions in the public debate. The aim of the conference is to include other European countries and, from the Greek side, to shed light on the path of the TEE, an important institution in the history of the country and largely unknown to the public.
The moderator of the conference will be Aris Chatzidakis, ECCE Immediate Past President.
Below are the details of the speakers, the themes of their presentations, and their abstracts.
